Sarah Chin is a professional dancer, choreographer and model from New Zealand pursuing her career in Miami, Florida.
With over 18 years of dance and teaching experience, Sarah started her journey training full time at Excel School of Performing Arts in Auckland New Zealand. Since then Sarah has been apart of dance companies Crucial Movement, INZPYA, The Class (New Zealand), Collektive (Australia) and D.N.A (Los Angeles).
Sarah has performed in various live shows, music videos, and commercials such as Coca Cola Christmas in the Park, 626 Night Market, Parachute Music Festival and Club Posers to name a few.
Sarah is currently an instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studio. She has taught a vast variety of ages and levels Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Heels/Burlesque, Latin Fusion, American Rhythm and Smooth and a variety of specialty partner dances in studios across New Zealand, Australia and the United States.
Sarah has competed in several Arthur Murray Dance O Rama’s both with students (ProAm) and professionally in the Future Champs Rhythm division. Sarah won 1st place at the Tampa Bay Classic 2023 West Coast Swing Convention in the Newcomer division.
Sarah was a student at Kreative Mindz Academy participating in the mentorship program based in Los Angeles. This intensive training program was for professional dancers dedicated to working within the entertainment industry.
Sarah founded 'Inspiring New Zealand’s Performing Young Artists' (INZPYA: pronounced inspire) and directed, choreographed and performed with the group for its first two years. Including dancing and choreographing music videos for international artist Savage 'Hot like fire', 4DG featuring Nesian Mystik 'Remember', Mz J 'That Gurl' & Cydel 'I want you'.
Sarah and Margaret Ling founded and co-directed WOMENESQUE. The pair created empowering, fun and inspirational dance and beauty workshops for women of all ages. They also directed and choreographed the sell-out show WOMENESQUE which highlighted the life stories of the all female cast.
Sarah has modeled for commercial brands Sedona Lace cosmetics in Florida and Delicate + Sweet handcrafted jewelry in Los Angeles, Te Mana Skincare, Schnips Hair Salon and the New Zealand Wedding Magazine.
